my approach

I'm a goal-oriented therapist. I like to help identify goals and dreams and then develop a roadmap to get to them. Sometimes this roadmap includes trauma work, career exploration, relationship trigger management, anxiety or depression coping skills, or even just the freedom and safety to start dreaming again.

If you're therapy-fluent, I mainly sample from Solution Focused Brief Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. If you're not therapy-fluent, basically I like to hear your stories and help you live the life you want to live.

common questions

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
I do not accept insurance at this time. I can provide you with a Superbill once a month that you can then submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Before our first session, I suggest you call your insurance provider to inquire about your out-of-network benefits. Clients have also used HSA cards to pay for services.

WHAT IS YOUR THEORY?

I mainly use solution focused brief therapy (SFBT), narrative therapy,  Internal Family Systems (IFS), person-centered, and emotional transformation therapy (ETT). I operate from a solution-focused framework and bring in different techniques and tools depending on the goal of treatment and presenting issues.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE?

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) #84273 in the state of Texas. I received my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from the University of North Texas, and my Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern Methodist University.

I have been working in private practice since 2019, before that having interned at a University in Fort Worth, helping grad school students identify career goals, bust out a 5-star resume, and increase interview success.

In private practice, I see a wide range of clients from 10 years old to 70 years young, from trauma to anxiety and depression, relationship struggles to career change.
